Public Relations

PUBLIC RELATIONS UNIT

Public Relations Unit is there to create and maintain good will and mutual understanding between the public and the Council.

The Unit is there to provide the following to the Council, community and general public.

  1. Media report- undertaking timely the compilation of media and other reports on the operations of the Council in order to inform and educate the public.
  2. Publication- undertaking timely the publication of news articles in order to disseminate information within and outside the Council.
  3. Undertaking timely and accurately, responses to press and public queries in order to facilitate information sharing.
  4. Performance Management-manage the implementation of performance management system in order to improve and sustain performance of various department.
  5. Documentation of media reports in order to facilitates efficient storage and retrieval of information.
  6. Undertaking effectively human, financial and material resources in order to achieve the objectives of the Unit.
  7. Press Release- undertaking timely sensitization of Council programs in order to enhance public awareness.
  8. Creation and maintenance of the Council’s online communication platforms.
  9. Dissemination of information about Luano Town Council.
